  • BEMER therapy, which stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic Energy Regulation therapy, is a complementary and alternative therapeutic treatment that aims to improve general well-being and support the body's natural healing processes using electromagnetic fields.

The therapy involves the use of a BEMER device, which generates a specific pulsed electromagnetic field that is applied to the body through a blanket or leg boots. This electromagnetic field is believed to mimic the natural electromagnetic frequencies that help regulate blood flow and cellular functions in the horse's body.

  • Red light therapy, also known as photo biomodulation or low-level light therapy, is a non-invasive therapeutic technique that uses red or near-infrared light to stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, and promote various physiological effects in the horse's body.

  • Cryotherapy is a therapeutic technique that involves exposing the horse's body to extremely cold temperatures for a short period of time. The term "cryotherapy" is derived from the Greek words "cryo," meaning cold, and "therapy," which refers to a treatment intended to relieve or heal a condition. It's often used as a therapeutic technique to address various health conditions, aid in recovery, and promote healing.

Our Story

It all began when a young girl developed a fear of small animals, but her courage emerged when she encountered a horse. The inception of this family-owned and operated business can be tracked back to her profound desire to be surrounded by horses throughout her life. Her journey commended by seeking opportunities to care for and body clip other people’s horses. However, her parents stipulated that she could only have a horse if she demonstrated a steadfast commitment to its care. It wasn’t until her 17th birthday that her parents fulfilled this dream, albeit unaware of the challenges that lay ahead, as every horse comes with its own set of challenges.

This particular horse had poor hoof health, prompting numerous lameness examinations. As she contemplated how to prevent her horse from going lame, the idea of incorporating red light therapy, Bemer therapy, and cryotherapy struck her. She approached her parents, not only with the intention of helping her horse but also with a vision of extending her assistance to other horse owners. And thus, Forelocks to Tails came into existence.
